Alexander Dashevsky – painter.

d.o.b. in 1980 in Leningrad, lives and works in St. Petersburg.

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television. Studied at the Faculty of Theory and History of Arts of the St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin at the Russian Academy of Arts.

Member of IFA, member of the «Free Culture» Association, member of the Association of Painting and Drawing Lovers. Project «Partial Losses/Moderate Positive Dynamics» – shortlisted for the Kandinsky Prize (2013). Included in the list of seven most promising Russian young artists according to Forbes magazine (2013). The painting «Electric Power» was awarded the Arte Laguna Prize, First prize section painting (2016).
